Images & Contents are not available on Facebook

There are times when submitted post to Facebook does not contain any images or snippet of the blog post. This issue is often caused by blogpost is being set as private on the site. In order to share items on Facebook, the blog must be publicly visible and it should be accessible by Facebook's crawler.

Solution

Ensure that the submitted blogpost is public. Once you have configured the blogpost to be public, follow the following steps to clear cache on Facebook server.

1. Head on to http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug.
2. Enter the URL of your blogpost and hit the Debug button.
3. Once you're done, click on the Fetch new scrape information button to reset the cache.

This will fix up most of your Facebook issue :)
