Common Installation Issue
Let's face it, this documentation may or may not work for everyone due to the vast variety of hosting setup, configuration, platforms and integrations. Nevertheless, we have managed to compile a list of known common issue that users have encounter here to assist you with the installation.
'#__komento_configs' doesn't exist
In a case where you're hitting this error while installing Komento on your site or having trouble accessing backend, 'joomla.#__komento_configs' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT * FROM `#__komento_configs`. To fix this, you may either manually runs the SQL queries (which can be found in the installer package) only if you have the knowledge in SQL. Otherwise, drop us a ticket on our forum and we will assist you on this matter.
500 - Unable to copy files
In a case where you're hitting this error while installing Komento on your site, is because of the file permission of your site. To fix this issue, you will need to consult with your hosting provider to change the permission of the specified files. There is nothing we can do here.
